Our Story & Vision

Our story

This land in the small community of Ryder Lake evoked memories of growing up in northern British Columbia. Our father, who immigrated to Canada and worked for decades in remote northern towns, recognized the magic of this place immediately. Standing on the fertile fields, he winked at us as if to say, “This is where something special begins.”

Planting the Seeds

Soon, our family began planting over 1,600 lavender seedlings under the hot summer sun. We studied farming methods and aromatic distillation, guided by a welcoming community of fellow growers. Each bloom that took hold became a testament to resilience, showing how nature’s simplest gifts can bring comfort and peace.

From Soil to Soul

Our story began with a simple recognition: this land holds something special. What started as a family dream has grown into a sanctuary where ancient wisdom meets modern wellness practices.

From our family to yours, we hope SOIUL becomes more than a destination; it’s a place where your own story of healing, growth, and meaningful connection begins.

Why Lavender? Why Breath? Why Now?

In our fast-paced world, we’ve forgotten the simple power of breathing deeply and connecting with nature. Lavender has been used for centuries to calm the mind and restore balance. Combined with intentional breathwork and mindful movement, it creates a pathway back to your authentic self. At SOIUL, we believe wellness isn’t complicated, it’s about returning to what’s natural and true.
